UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2550
(04/17/2012) This looks pretty solid, however it appears that the rear wheel wells and rear floor don’t have the original scallop indentations.
“1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A A real survivor. Needs restored but runs really good. I have several extra parts that go with the jeep. No top. All original except converted to 12 volt.”
I drove, and passed on this one last year, when it had a 1700.00 price tag
Thanks Randy .. is it rustier than it appears in the pictures?
Looks okay to me. I live close by but haven’t checked it out. Are you sure your not confusing it with the Morristown, TN one thats listed for $1700?
Its the same one I drove last year, has helicopter seat in it.It does have more rust than it appears, and drivetrain sounded like there was no fluids inside, also smoked a little. I knew before I got out of the driveway with it , that I wasnt buying it. Owner was a nice guy, He called Me before I got back to NC and said he sold it for his asking price,I told Him to go buy a lotto ticket, lol
