Dan had this M-677 up for sale. A scammer attempted to use photos of the vehicle (though not the exact ones below) in a scam.
“1964 Jeep M-677 Forward Control 4 door, M-677 Four door Military crew cab Forward Control. One of the rarest and most sought after Jeeps. This is one of around 30 known.
Original 3 cylinder Cerlist Diesel motor. This is a rare military version of the FC 170 but with extra doors.”
Interesting vehicles in the background, an FC with a trailer attached and is that a Crosley on a trailer?

Yup, there is some cool stuff back there! These M-677’s could be called “Zippy the Wonder Slug” lots of power, not much umph.
He bought it in August, 11 for 4k plus. Took parts off it and is selling it for 14k. That’s better than I’m doing with my investments…

I found and later sold two of these years ago (former USMC), I think that they are the slowest vehicle ever made by Willys.
That’s some slick engineering to create those wide wheels.
