UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
It’s too bad the body was cut.
“1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep that runs and drives great. The jeep belonged to an older couple and they had a mechanic go through the jeep anf fix anything that was wrong. The engine was purchased new in 1975 and has low miles on it. He had cut the side of the jeep so he could get in and out easier. The jeep has all new wiring for the lights, all the gauges work even the gas gauge, the windshield wiper works, glass all good, high and low beam on the lights, all the gears are tight and the transfer case is like new, four wheel drive works great, has lockouts, the tub has been rhino lined, seats are in fair shape, has 16in tires and wheels. The bumper is bent from hitting something”
i was going to comment on the paint job and the hood and such, and then i thought that Paul might have some comments…………………so i’m going to wait. take it away Paul
Well, I’m impressed. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen such a thick application of paint on such a dented surface that still managed to cling to the Jeep and not puddle on the floor under the vehicle. The painted tires are a nice touch.
thank you Paul…. ’nuff said
So ugly that nobody even mentioned the lovely F head bulge on the hood. And it is up to $3000.00 ………Time to buy some resale red paint…cuz it seems to be working quite well.
Yeah .. the cap reminded me of the top of a barn.
I thought the thing on the hood was the drivers hat.
Maybe .. or maybe that gets nice and warm. Then, you can stick your cowboy hat on it to help it keep its proper form?
My neighbor has a hat just like the one on the hood, he says the aliens gave it to him after they accidentally smashed his tin foil hat last winter.
