I just thought this looked interesting. It’s the first I have heard of a Willys Flathead used as a marine motor.

I’ve only seen one, and I had to buy it. My marine output actually mounts on the front of the engine, not the rear. It’s on an L-head. I suppose it would mount on an F-head, too.

All of my family members call each one of my Willys treasures “boat anchors”.
    Windyhill, are we related? (lol)

I bought two L-head boat motors simultaneously. The other marine engine was a Universal, which I’m still learning about.

Yes, I’ve always wondered if the old L4-134 marine setup would ever be needed by anyone. I’d like to see some pictures of the type of vessel that was powered by an L4-134. Was it a barge, a Vee hull???

I’d also be interested in seeing the two cyl generator setup. That’s a bit of history I’ve never seen! I have an old welder made with an L4, but it runs on all four.
