One of the pix in the link shows that Data Tag. This is a Canfield Folding Wrecker, a Authorized Willys Special Equipment option. A local friend has one of these on a Ford Pickup.
Really cool wood gathering truck! I see a Missoula county plate—care to say where? I used to live in the Bitterroot. Is it for sale???? love those old jeeps.
I got it from a guy in Lolo. He said he got it from the owner of the Sula store (the original owner) about 18 years ago.
This truck was bought new by Bill Gobler, he’s long gone but he owned a motor cycle shop(HD) in missoula. In the 70,s I workon this for him. Phil
