One resourceful Mitsubishi owner decided his jeep would work just fine as a crane after reading about the specs in All American Wonder Vol. III in the M-38A1 Section.

Did he tie that rig onto his towbar with rope?
My dad had built a crane for his 1962 Scout and then mounted it on the 1967 Scout 800 when he bought it. Both Scouts he bought new after having a 1958 CJ5.
Sounds interesting. Any pics of that?
