UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1650.
“Up for a sale is my 1965 “Willy’s” Jeep, 4 WD works great, Org Jeep alloy wheel’s, 4 CYD Hurricane (Org) engine, no dent’s, little rust just in one spot on back panel, new fuel pump, new tune-up, all light’s+electric work well, original paint (Lime Green) is in very good shape, runs like a watch, and will go anywhere, snow=no prob, has clear title in my name, priced for quick sale, ”
This just might be an original US Forest Service Jeep with a four speed. The only CJ-5 I’ve ever seen with a factory 4 spd. was a ’64 USFS CJ-5, and it was this color.
I believe that the USFS began using this light green color in 1958 because I saw a ’58 Willys Wagon for sale this color with USFS brass dashboard tags 25 years ago. My ’57 USFS Willys Wagon is a dark forest green color. I have a former USFS FC-170 with a factory 4 spd. this color, with brass tags. So, I wonder if this Jeep has a rare factory T-98? Is that a brass tag under the grab bar???
