(04/29/2011) I think saying this is in “pretty decent shape” might be a stretch.
“1946 Jeep Willys is in pretty good condition every thing is there. It would make a great project. I got this then found out my wife is pregnant so now I need baby furniture and not a Jeep. aksing $2000 OBO.”
Long story short…I work at Hulrbert Field USAF base near this Jeep. A USAF G.I. who works there saw me looking over posts here at eWillys and told me his neighbor had an old Willys… I got the POC info for this Jeep yesterday as its his neighbor and most of the hot scoop minus the selling price. I was supposed to call the owner…didn’t realize he was posting this so soon, then again I didn’t realize how much he wanted either…oh well..guess I’m back to lookin’
Yeah, I’m thinking maybe $1500 – $2000 on this just based on those pics. This might be pretty stock, based on the driver’s side rear tail light. Any idea if this is a VEC?
I’ll try to call the owner this weekend and maybe get over there for more pics… as I said there is a story to this Jeep…
