UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $20,000.
The white jeep in the lower left appears to be a VEC CJ-2A.
“this is a huge lot of old willys jeeps i think i have 3 military and 4 civilian and 8 to 10 pallets of parts please call me if you have any questions. this WILL!!!!! be sold as one lot. i WILL NOT seperate any of it”
Shame he won’t sell these parts separately, I could do with one of those tubs (if a ’42 MB) and don’t live far away.
No kidding. I’d hook up on some wheels. He’ll be sitting on this stuff for some time.
At times like this I wished I had the resources to develop an eWillys cooperative, so that big purchases like this could be made for the benefit of members. However, choosing which members got which parts could be a challenge ….
Having had to sell a large amount of jeep stuff to move from my old place I can tell you the unless you offer an amazing deal, nobody will bite on a large lot. Selling individual jeeps is a pain when you have 10 to sell but NOBODY buys 10 at a time at retail.
I did purchase 6 at one time to get enough parts to build one particular jeep one time, but it was a fair deal and NOT at retail. And the jeeps were pretty close to home. I wish this guy luck,. He will need it.
