UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1950.
(02/15/2010) I guess this needs a little work done? It has an overdrive.
“The Jeep has a 1957 Chevy 283 V8 engine. It runs and sounds great. 3 speed manual trans with high/low transfer and overdrive. Has chrome valve covers and air cleaner cover. The tires are good and there are two spares. Its been under cover and for the most part is in pretty good condition. It has an electric fuel pump. I start it frequently. Battery is good. I’ve had it for 40 years, and have had many good times in it. The transmission needed rebuilding a few years ago, so I pulled the engine and replaced the damaged parts in the transmission. I got most of the project completed, but am no longer able to work on it. It will need some brake work and new mufflers, but for someone that is mechanically inclined, this is a very good chance to own a one of a kind Jeep. It doesn’t have a top. It has a tow bar and cover.”
Is that a Hudson steering column?
It sure is. I’d say this likely has the Hudson Steering upgrade, too.
If it has the Hudson column, then it definitely has the Hudson steering upgrade. The box on the Hudson steering is part of the column shaft.
