The shop rate for a master mechanic must be quite expensive, $4500 purchase price, engine overhaul, paint job (quickie) and new tires equal $17,000 bucks. Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore.
I interpreted it as he paid $4500 for the paint job (he’s a “master mechanic” and not a painter), so maybe he had the engine gold-plated. Here’s another crazy Maryland jeep seller, if he’s like all the ones I contacted and never heard from.
