Electo plating the frame??? How do you do that?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t this process involve placing the whole frame in a liquid? I thought you can electroplate relatively small parts, not something as large as a Jeep frame. Wouldn’t you need a large tank and several gallons of the electroplating solution to do this? Sounds unlikely to me.
That’s what I would envision too. So, I was surprised to see the $69 kit, which is likely as effective as painting a vehicle with spray cans vs. a good sprayer and the proper paint.
