UPDATE: Still Available
(01/27/2011) Josh spotted this strange creature. I’m SO glad there’s nothing that states it is “all original”!
“1940 WILLIS JEEP OVERLANDER, GOOD HEAVY METAL BODY; MIGHT WORK GOOD ON LATE MODEL RUNNING GEAR. 3 SPEED ON COLUMN TRANSMISSIOM MAY BE GOOD. APPEARS TO BE FLAT HEAD FORD ENGINE WITH INTAKE AND HEADS MISSING. RADIATOR IS MISSING. IF YOU LIKE THIS PROJECT OR PARTS VEHICLE CALL 770-403-1432 do not text”
Wow, that’s an odd thing…looks kinda like a cj10 tug.
and it’s right down the street from me….but so is the wrecking yard.
But Kevin, this looks like a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of history:-)
It’s a piece of something allright. Gotta love the safety approved jerry can bumperettes. Very effective… especially when full.
I hope the fine print on the cans reads “For decorative purposes only”
I still think it’s kinda cool. It’s not $900 cool, but maybe $200 cool
For all the bashing this beast got from us; it looks like it sold. the posting was deleted. Somebody owns a piece of…….history
Not quite sold … it has been relisted. I’ve updated the link. Thanks!
my bad….
Not at all … I appreciate the info 🙂
It lives, it lives…you can’t beat a good horse down.
