Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (04/13/2009) This reminds me of the very first jeep my parents purchased for me when I graduated high school, except it’s in nicer condition (not that the condition of this looks all that nice). The color and the cage was similar.

I agree the body could be glass. I wound the parts of my very first jeep into the final build that I jeeped and raced (upper right photo of website). The body of my very first jeep had diamond plating welded to various sections. It might have ran fine, but the body was a mess. I ended up cutting it up and taking it to the metal yard. I sold my glass jeep to someone in the Sumner area.
