UPDATE: SOLD FOR $900
It is rough, but it runs.
“This listing is for a 1953 Willys CJ3B Jeep. Engine runs good, low miles on a rebuild. Frame is solid except rear cross member needs replacement. Grille, hood, and windshield frame, are in good restorable condition, body tub is rough. I bought this Jeep in the spring with the intent of getting a new steel tub and fenders, also doing a full restoration. I have to many projects at this time and don’t want to leave this outside for the winter. Jeep is all original, as far as I can tell and still 6volt. Engine has 50lbs. oil pressure at idle. Asking price is $1,400 but will certainly consider offers. Questions are welcome and thanks for looking!”
50 lbs of oil pressure at idle? Sounds like a lot. Mine only does that when it’s cold, but hovers around 20 at idle for the most part
well, I suppose it isn’t entire impossible that the gauge is wrong? i agree, it sounds a bit high for an old engine at idle.
