Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/15/2010) This looks solid. I wonder if that really is a BW OD or a Warn OD.
“Original M38. New seats(front buckets and rear military style quick removable “clam shell style bench), tires, brakes. Runs great! starts right up and goes anywhere. Borg-warner O/D so it’ll cruise 60mph if you dare. It’s not a perfect museum piece yet, but high KBB is $17.5k for one like that.”
If it’s a BW Overdrive, then it has an awefully short driveshaft. I like the actions shots to prove it’s a real Jeep that gets driven. Camarillo is on the coast and is no where near the snow. Good on them!
