UPDATE: Mathew noted this is still for sale.
(06/22/2010) This looks pretty nice, though something unusual has been done to the hood. There are 2 bolts/rivets on both sides of the hood that seem to warp it slightly. There is also a motor issue.
“Real nice old jeep. was restored about 10 years ago. Body is in great shape… didn’t require any patchwork. Interior was PROFESSIONALLY Rhino Lined. Not the cheap imitation stuff. Completely new wiring harness, 12 volt. New Gauges. New seats, new upholstery, new rear seat. New Tires. All new switches. New brakes, New heater. No expense spared. Everything was gone through, and it has less than 5000 miles on it since completion. Needs some motor work / new motor depending on how handy you are. An exhaust seat let loose on the number 3 cylinder. Didn’t do any damage to the motor, but it needs a new one pressed in. I’m not handy enough, nor do I have the time to do the work. Top end is off the motor. Winch not included. Comes with a rollbar, new bikini top.”
Where in the world did he find a non-black soft top?
Also, it looks like the pics are pretty old…dated 1999 and 2003. Wonder if it looks as good now?
Good catch on the pic dates!
Looks like and extra support on the hood. I did the same thing, but mine is welded in and can’t be seen from the outside. Kind of a lot of money for something you have to take the motor out of and repair.
