Here’s a ‘professionally’ restored M-38 that doesn’t appear accurately restored. You can see it is missing the M-38 grille and grill mount, suggesting this is a CJ frame. It doesn’t have a M-38 gas tank and the inlet is in an odd position. The windshield vent should be bolted, not hinged. The rear of the frame looks civilian; Here’s the way the rear should really look. Note the drain piece where the hood connects to the body — that is from a CJ-3A. And, last but not least, the Dash Plate is installed upside down and backwards …

I believe the tub is M-38, but that’s about it…..
This Jeep is professionally restored huh? What was the profession of the restorer, a fry cook? There seems to be quite a lot of oil on the chassis except on the areas coated with rust.
