UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.

(10/08/2009) This is a CJ body on an MB Frame.  There is certainly surface rust, but it looks solid.

“its a 1945 willys flat finder jeep. has military frame and running gear. no rust in tub, tub is strait. have licensing, tags, and a clean title.1,000 dollors, or trade for an adault 4-wheeler atv.”

oh damn .. you are right. And, no jockey box. I looked to see if there was a tailgate and didn’t see it and didn’t look past it … I’ll update the post. Thanks!

    Hi Bob,

On a MB the shock mounts go straight up and the body allows for clearance of these mounts. The CJ-2A body sits very close to the frame and the shock mounts are moved forward. So, when you put a CJ-2A body on a MB frame, the mounts are in the way of the CJ-2A body. People who put a CJ-2A body on a MB frame often just cut holes, as shown in the pics above, and slide the body over the mounts.

You can see a few pics of this at the D&L Bensinger’s website within the FAQs (https://www.dlbensinger.com/faq.php) as a part of the discussion on a MB-2A kit (https://www.dlbensinger.com/index.php?cPath=55). People often buy 2A bodies to replace rotten MB bodies and D&L offers a conversion kit with instructions.
