(04/07/2009) The seller has some inaccurate info here. I can safely say this is a VEEP and that it wasn’t a 1943 model. And while Costa Mesa (where Hadley was located) is pretty far West, it isn’t quite so far west as the Phillipines.

I’ve never heard of this either. I’d come more to guessing this is another one of those MD Juan repops that appear to have been so popular durring the dune buggy craze and someone just dropped it on. I’ve got an MDJ M38 sort of on a 2wd Toyota something myself from the erra.
