(06/05/2009) “My Father is ready to sell his Eastern Washington 1959 FC-170 Jeep located in Chelan, WA. Introduced in 1957, FC-170 models had a 103 inches (2,616 mm) wheelbase with a 108 in (2,743.2 mm) bed. This model is significant as it was the first time the length of the payload box – 9 feet (2.7 m) with the tailgate up – exceeded the wheelbase of a truck. This was achieved by the forward cabin layout. The Jeep starts right up and is ready for you to take it home!”

Buzz called me after he sold it and said he got $4500 for it. He was the second owner, the first being the local airport in Chelan. He said it was a 1959, but serial # that he gave me it was ’57, early cooling tunnel. He had a silent auction going on this truck, rather than stating a price he just kept taking offers until Oct. 1.
What price did it go for.
Duck in WA, I have one already
I think the previous commenter suggests the seller got $4500, unless I misunderstand the first comment.

are these FCs really going for that much now?
It obviously depends on the condition, but here’s a list of FC auction results (Maybe I should consider doing this for early jeeps as well). http://64.151.254.187/fc_auction_results.htm
