You know, it’s just occurred to me I’ve never ridden in a jeepster (that I remember).
“Dark Red 1950 Willys Jeepster Conv,. Totally restored and rebuilt within the last few years. Jeepster mainly used for parades. Good top and side curtains. 6 cyl, 3 speed, 12 volt. Nice, runs & drives great.”
Is your jeepster still for sale? The listing said it was expired. Looks to have possibilities but not enough pictures to explore. I live in Illinois so location is good. I am looking for a project this spring.

I haven’t seen this Jeepster pop back onto Cragislist. I’m guessing because the listing expired, that it is still available.
I just did a search to see if it was relisted on craigslist, but I couldn’t find anything. Here’s some other 1950 Jeepsters that I found http://autos.aol.com/used-list/year-1950/make1-Willys . If I see this jeepster from Springfield, I’ll update the listing.

Dave, thanks foe the reply. Already checked many web sites. I am looking for a spring project (not a rebuild) sooo I will continue to look for the best. Have a couple cars in mind! 1949/1950 Want mostly stock but upgrades considered. Happy holidays. KURT
