It’s a good looking GPW.
“Originally purchased privately in January of 1983 in Heightstown, New Jersey. Has been garage kept since purchase, and believed to have been prior to also. It was primarily used for parades, re-enactments and static displays. Entire body and interior is original, including seat covers, ID plates, and windshield. Body was stripped down and repainted. Some additional body work and mechanical work required to get into show condition. Still has 6 volt system, may need new wiring harness. Generator rebuilt in late 1980’s. Motor rebuilt at time of purchase. Shimmy in front end when driven and small stone chip in driver’s side of windshield.”
Lol, would the “small stone chip” be that golf ball size hole Im looking at from way out here? Nice rig though, I just bought an MB that’s a nightmare, nice to see all the goodies still intact. Jim
