It appears this CJ-3B has not tailgate. I’m not sure if that’s a customization or not. I have not heard of CJ-3Bs that have no tailgates. The body looks pretty rough.
“1958 Willys jeep CJ3B. Needs a new Body. It has lock out hubs, Superlift suspension and 32″ Coopers. It runs with an auxillary fuel tank and needs a carb rebuild. Engine is nice and quiet, transmission shifts good, 4×4 works. I was using it in the woods untill a front brakeline broke. I was looking for a tail gate for my 64 Cj-5 when i saw a Option for a tail gate on E-bay for 50 bucks & it was a short drive from me .. & plus it was a friend on the internet BBS for old Jeepsters that had it ,,, I bought it & he was showing me his hurd of old Jeeps & he had a body of a 59 CJ3B That was fitted to a 74 cj-5 frame (like the one I had & was looking for a body) … So I ended up with something for 2 of jeeps ,, The option for the tail gate was NOS & it fit the 64 cj-5 ,,, The 3B body is being finished up to fit the 74 frame as I type,,
