Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The CJ-5 comes with a warn overdrive, a ford-top loader, a ford 289, a full cage and a set of hurricane aluminum 10″ rims. $1500 isn’t a bad price for that combo + the rest of the parts.

The FC-150 looks pretty good as well for $1500, if it comes with some of the missing parts.
