Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I thought this CJ-5 had a tux park badge, but I think it’s a little too short and in the wrong place (and it is a 1962 or earlier model). It does have a ventilating windshield and a classic Colorado bumper.

The body looks solid, though it has a few dents. The Selectro sticker on the dash is what caught my eye with this rig. I didn’t know that style of sticker existed.

“Classic Jeep, pre-clean air rules. Been used on ranch since 1974 so there are some dings to be sure. Odometer stopped years ago but since it was only on the ranch I doubt if there’s more than 30,000 miles total.”
This has some dash updates that might have been pretty fancy back in the day. It seems to have a little rust, along with some mods.

This is listed as a 1956, but the dash is not a DJ-3A, though the body does lack a normal driver’s side fuel inlet. Not sure how much value is here.
