This has a PTO and winch. It may be worth a look at this price.

Thanks to Joe for sharing this one with me. It looks beautiful. It’s not cheap, but I imagine neither was the restoration.

“1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep. Has the Go Devil 4 cylinder engine. Engine turns over. Doesn’t run but with a little work I’m sure it would. Manual 3 speed transmission. The steering box is really stiff, Its a simple box and will probably need torn apart and rebuilt. It has the really hard to find full cab. I have the passenger side window in the back that is intact. Just needs put back in. Also has a snow plow that is powered by the PTO on the Jeep. Clean Idaho title in hand. This Jeep is a project but they are hard to find this complete and in this condition. Its a great base for a restoration. That was my plan but I have too many projects and no time as it is. $4500 OBO. Let me know if you have any other questions!”
Needs brakes at the very least.

“46 willys with 289 ford v8 needs brakes has manual trans”
The seller notes that it is a lefty, though it is missing the bow top holders on the passenger side. The exterior has been painted, but it appears the interior was not.

“1948 Jeep Willys CJ2A with overdrive. Has a rebuilt Buick V6 with only 424 miles. Truck has all new parts, too many to list. It is a rare “Lefty” which means spare is on drivers side. Best reasonable offer.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $7000.
(10/19/2021) I would think the rear passenger tire would rub on the exhaust pipe when flexed??

“Fair to good condition two sets of tires”
The body looks to be a modified replacement body (on a Suzuki chassis). If you need a body that you plan to modify anyway, this might be worth a look.

“This is a 1946 Jeep Willys CJ-2A on a Suzuki Samari frame. Details say “Wrangler” but obviously it is not. Facebook would not let me post without labeling it something. It has Samari Axles with 31 inch Super Swamper tires. There is no engine. Clean title. This would make a great project WWII Jeep!”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3250.
(10/31/2021) This has a replacement tub and some other updates (though this M-38 looking tub appears to have a battery box hole? It also includes a Knox trailer.

“CJ2A Repli-tub and 1940s Knox Trailer Included in this bundle is: -All steel Replica Tub (Not a cheap Fiberglass one) -Boxed in CJ2A Frame -Steel fenders and grill -Fiberglass Hood (Had been cut out for an air cleaner by previous owner) -Full Rollcage (Needs to be bolted/welded on) -Seats from a 73 CJ5 (Not yet installed) -1940s Knox Utility Trailer (Will be cleaned out before being sold) —There is no engine, no transmission, no transfercase, no steeringbox, no drivelines—
There is no vin plate for the Replitub, you would need to apply for a VIN/Serial Number through the State (Utah TC-162 Application Form) in order to road register this after you build it. Alternatively, it could be build as an Off-Road vehicle without that process. I would be happy to assist you with that process if needed. I have a poilce VIN inspection for the Jeep stating that no VIN was found on the tub or the frame by the officer”
This pretty stock CJ-2A includes a Sears/Meyers hardtop.

“For sale is 1946 Willys CJ-2A serial number 94602. The jeep retains all of its factory frame and body tags as well as the original engine and drivetrain. The jeep has a valid NC title, the engine turns over freely and the trans and tcase shift through the gears properly. The body is in good shape overall for its age, saved by the top and being stored indoors. The areas that need attention are shown in the photos. This 2A is a wonderful example of a survivor and will make someone a great driver and/or restoration project.
