About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Has some body rust; seems to me this could have been a Surrey. It’s missing the top portion of the dry gauze air filter.
“Real Pink Surrey Edition DJ3A. 2 wheel drive. L134, column shift. Clean title. Will need some TLC. Body has some rust, needs carb rebuilt, and factory tank repaired and put back in(temporary fuel tank in back right now). Brakes work and steers great. Has factory bumpers, hub caps, and some original pink fabric on seats. Was driving around a few months ago. Motor has some smoke. Currently not running. Hard top also available. Bring a trailer. Located in Queen Creek, Az. Can help with transport and possible delivery within reason. Don’t have to sell, just making room for current projects.”
Ten years ago these were selling for $1000-$2000. This even has a damaged bumper. Crazy price!

“Great original WW2 poster sent to schools for bond or stamp drives to buy jeeps. It measures approximately 35 by 45 inches. Some condition issues, but a great vintage poster. See other auctions for more WW2 posters.”
“Post WWII vintage matchbook for Jeep – Fort Worth Willys Overland Co., Fort Worth, Texas. Willys Overland Motors, Inc. Toledo Ohio. Great image is very similar to the 1945 press release of the CJ-2A Post-hole digger demo.”
Adam shared this ebay auction for another Quackpot poster. The image below is from a 2013 auction (it’s a better quality image than the one posted to eBay).
“Have to see to appreciate, comes with title Has ton of collectables 2 trailers ( one is a Batan trailer) No rust Been driven in parades and a Car Shows Won best in show”
Yesterday, with cold weather arriving soon, I took advantage of a warm, but very windy day, to pull Biscuit off the trailer and put it on the hoist. Now, all three jeeps are in the shop.
But, before we gathered the jeeps, both Ann and her son Daniel, who has been helping us around the property, each took the race jeep for a run in the pasture.
Here I am giving Daniel a ride. Unfortunately, my long legs preclude me from shifting into second gear (that’s how tight it is). Once I fix that, I can go much faster.
Here are some still shots. First up is Ann in the cockpit:
Here’s Daniel just finished with a run around the pasture:
Ann’s stomach surgery this summer, which as helped her in numerous ways, including solving her several adverse reactions to gluten (unsure why?), has also helped her lose quite a bit of weight. This has helped reduce her over all pain and also allows her to easily fit into the race jeep. Though she didn’t drive too fast, she did have fun racing around our back pasture. Once she gets used to it, I expect she will enjoy racing at a PNW event.
Jalopnik’s David Tracy recounts his adventure with a “barn-find” FC-150 that seemed too good to be true. As the story unfolds, you’ll see that you just never know about these jeeps.

“Selling my project CJ2A. I just don’t have time to work on it.
Vehicle runs and drives, but I overjetted the carb when I brought it down from Colorado, so it’s very rich and hard to start.
Jeep features:
full fiberglass tub and hood
a buick oddfire v6 swap
transfer case overdrive (currently non-functional)
tilt steering
electric fuel pump
besttop soft tub and full soft doors (not pictured but included)”

“1962 Willys Utility Wagon. Runs great! Original 6-cylinder “Hurricane” engine. Newly upholstered front seats and headliner in the last year. Has been stored in a covered garage for the last year and has been driven throughout that time. This is a treasure. $9,900.”
“Here it is the opportunity of a lifetime. A 1946 jeep Willys that could become your dream come true. I purchased this vehicle and it was stored in the garage since the 1970s. The 70s is also when it was last driven. See the pictures that it is a work in progress and will become a labor of passion. Unfortunately this beauty does not have a title and is to be sold as is. What a fantastic opportunity to bring this rich piece of history back to life.”

I have a brand new M38 tank to install. I have also replaced three of the four brakes (cylinders and pads) and have the forth one plus master cylinder on hand. I just haven’t had time to install it. This sale will include both fuel tanks and the remaining brake parts and every thing you see in the photos and the spare M38 engine. This is a project jeep with straight body with no rust.”
