Looks solid.
“This is my vintage DJ5 mail jeep, I am selling it with a brand new battery, brand new suspension all the way around, new tires and everything on it like headlights wheels with the sweet original chrome hub caps, and unkillable inline 5 it is automatic and mileage is unknown but it starts right up and drives great for its age. It does not have power steering but it’s so small it’s not very hard to turn you just have to get used to being on the right side. This one is in fantastic condition for what it is and it is easy to see project ideas from it or keep it original which is just as nice. All lights work and I bought it from a mailman who bought it from the us mail system.”
Needs a fuel pump at the very least.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
Michael has this DJ-5 for sale. He used it on a USPS route, but no longer needs it anymore.
“Hard to find nowadays a right hand drive Postal Jeep. Running like a top. It has a very nice light bar on the back. I completely redid the brakes, (calipers and lines), new water pump including the housing, new battery, new alternator, and new 3 point seatbelts. I had been using this to deliver mail for over two years and now I don’t need it. Very reliable and collectable. It has an inline 6 cylinder motor with 3 speed automatic transmission. Would make a good farm-buggy, grocery-getter or could still deliver the mail.”
Nate built this custom-purpose CJ-5 from parts.
“This 1966 cj5 came to me in very rough condition. No engine or transmission. The tub was falling off and the windshield glass fell out on the way home because the windshield frame was all rotted out. I pieces it together from parts I could find cheaply and it turned out to be a really tight Jeep now. Still a work in progress with more modifications to come.”
Jim sent me the following pics ….
“I was recently entrusted with a collection of photos that were taken by Chief Photographer’s Mate Paul Madden while onboard the USS Essex during WW2. The pics of Madden are for a little background. The first pic is of him, the second is of him after returning from an air mission where he was wounded (shrapnel in the head)”
“The third pic is what happened to the Jap Zero that wounded him. The fourth is the Purple Heart he got for that wound.”
“Below are some Jeep photos(attached) on board the Essex, which is the main reason for this post.”
Bob took these pics of a fire CJ-5 at the Los Angeles County Fire Museum.
Bob’s work colleague took this pic of an M-38 fire jeep at the LA City Fire Museum:
Bob shared this article that explains more about the CJ-5 fire jeep (see the original PDF here).
Several folks forwarded this Surrey. This Surrey was in Riverside, then was in Florida, but now is in Texas. It’s undergone a restoration in the last few years, but Colin indicates it was never a resort vehicle (despite the decals). Those style of decals were actually on a Surrey model jeep:

“Welcome to Street Dreams in Texas as we celebrate our 23rd year in the classic and muscle car business. We are always happy to present you with another dreamy classic jeep. This 1961 Willys Surrey Gala is a special production vehicle for Caribbean Palace Nassau. It has a 133ci Inline four cylinder engine with a manual 3-speed transmission. This classic has been well taken care of through the years. It is a very rare vehicle. It has a great look that will last until the color pink goes out of style. Which we don’t see ever happening. This thing turns everyone’s heads when you drive it around. This is a perfect vehicle for taking passengers on trips under 55mph. We sold one locally already, and they use it for wine tours”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/20/2021) Seems worth a look.

“For sale: 1952 willys cj3a jeep. 6 volt. Clear title. Professionally rebuilt WO carter carburetor. New points ,plugs ,condenser and coil. Almost entirely stock except for oversized seats and swing out tire carrier. The gas gauge works sporadically . Probably a ground wire issue. I don’t drive it more than 14 miles at a time so has not been a problem for me. The only other suspect part is the generator. The jeep only uses the battery to start it unless you use the lights. I just charge it up once a week to make sure it’s topped off. Everything else works as it should. Garage kept and only taken out in nice weather. I’ve had fun with it for 5 years, time to share with someone else. Asking $11,500”
Price is for both. The seller will separate.

The Epic Willys Adventure Crew has put together a video showing highlights from days 1 & 2 of their 2021 summer adventure. Here’s a 20-plus minute video.
Ray’s put together a nice collection of surreys. You can see them in a pic he sent me. He’s working on the pink Surrey. If you happen to have the steering column shifter rods for a DJ-3A, he’s looking for them.
