This looks solid.
“I need to sell my 1965 Jeep CJ5. It’s the Tuxedo Park, Mark IV Edition with 74,000 miles, mostly all original with average wear for it’s age. It has the original four cylinder motor and 3 spd transmission. The Jeep is light blue, and has a black bikini top, a little rust and good body. I can take some pictures of it, but if your interested you probably need to see it anyways. It needs some work on the brakes and steering, but it’s a great 4×4 and lots of fun, I hate to sell it but I have to.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1300.
The starter takes all of 15 minutes to install. I don’t understand why the seller doesn’t install it and try to start the jeep? This could be a good price. However, I’m unclear why this has a flathead motor.
“61 CJ5 Has not been run in several years. Ran good when starter went out removed starter to have rebuilt but never reinstalled . Starter is rebuilt but not installed .Has a early “Go Devil ” previous owner installed was a daily driver for him ,Sebastopol to Santa Rosa . Has Saginaw power steering installed (GM) good tires spare never been on the ground. Needs lots of fixup as you can see.Title is straight registered non op Has newer Rancho 1.5″ springs
All or parts…..”
No pics provided.
“’58 willys cj5 project vehicle-have most all of the original parts $500.00 obo-”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1950.
(02/15/2010) I guess this needs a little work done? It has an overdrive.
“The Jeep has a 1957 Chevy 283 V8 engine. It runs and sounds great. 3 speed manual trans with high/low transfer and overdrive. Has chrome valve covers and air cleaner cover. The tires are good and there are two spares. Its been under cover and for the most part is in pretty good condition. It has an electric fuel pump. I start it frequently. Battery is good. I’ve had it for 40 years, and have had many good times in it. The transmission needed rebuilding a few years ago, so I pulled the engine and replaced the damaged parts in the transmission. I got most of the project completed, but am no longer able to work on it. It will need some brake work and new mufflers, but for someone that is mechanically inclined, this is a very good chance to own a one of a kind Jeep. It doesn’t have a top. It has a tow bar and cover.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
It runs and has a plow. There may be some value.
“UNRESTORED JEEP 4 CYL HARD TOP RUNS GREAT 46,000 orig miles”
UPDATE: Still Available
(04/24/2011) This is a good looking CJ.
“All original rare 46,000 mile Jeep. Original V6 Buick engine option. Bought from south carolina a few years ago. Excellent condition well cared for jeep. Short wheel base version. $6500. 860 796 4533”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1400
It needs rewiring finished, but that shouldn’t be too difficult. There’s some value here.
“I have a 1958 Willy’s CJ5 Jeep that was a ranch jeep until it was moved here to Oakdale where we used it in our pastures. Started to rewire it and just never got around to finishing it. Have all the parts, just not the time. You want a project jeep it has an “Odd Fire” V6 that ran pretty strong until I started to rewire it. If you have the time come take a long and if you want to talk price I am willing within reason.
I forgot to add that this does have a hitch for towing the Jeep but since I’ve never towed it on the road I don’t know what the legalities of it are.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(05/10/2011) This looks nice. This is either “one-of-a-kind” or it is one of 1872. Can it be both?

This sure looks in curiously good shape for being parked in tall grass.
“1965 Jeep Tuxedo Park Mark IV Model. Needs restored, engine runs, floor boards rusted out, all parts there.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
This looks in good shape.
“MUST SEE 1967 jeep V6 Only 14,000 miles Many accessories Spot lights mounted both sides Large water tank with electric reel. New tires. 10,000 electric winch Snow plow and mounts”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $650.
(04/26/2011) There’s definitely some value here. It runs.
“This runs great. Also moves & stops but not road worthy. This has brand new rear springs that need to be installed. I do not have a reg. for it. This is probably better as a donor or lot truck .The plow blade needs repair or you can replace it. I plowed 2 big driveways all winter with out a problem. Junkers no thank-you. 657-3312”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $975.
It’s rough, but there might be some value.
“Very early model CJ-5 Willys Jeep with F-head 4 cylinder engine,
3 speed trans, hi-lo transfer case and hydraulic lift
Blackhawk brand snow plow. Do have the tail gate.
Engine starts and runs and has oil pressure.
Previous owner said he drove the unit last year.
Odometer shows some 25,000 miles which may be correct,
since this unit was used only to plow snow.
Yes, rusty sheet metal but frame is good.
Has an IL title.
Has a Koenig steel half cab with doors.
Incorrect bucket seats
This looks like a nice combo. I think I’ve seen this jeep previously.
“For sale is a combo, restored 1956 Willys CJ-5 jeep and 1966 Bantam civilian 1/4 ton jeep trailer. They were both restored and painted to match just a few years ago, then stored in a building. The jeep has a metal half cab, heater, new upholstry, Ramsey 8,000 lb winch that has never had the cable spooled out, Warn over-drive, original 4 cylinder overhead that runs great, new front hubs, roll bar, small driving lights inside the grill, rack on the back for extra spare tire and handy-man jack and 5 gallon gas can (included). The trailer is a 1966 Bantam 1/4 ton civilain trailer (more rare than the military version), wood racks, spare tire, detachable tool box, and wired to match the jeep. PLUS, this also comes with a full set of mud and snow tires for BOTH the jeep and trailer, already mounted on a full set of spare wheels. I will not split the set up, this is a package deal. Compare the price of this set to a new “Rhino” at close to $11,000, and it makes this jeep and trailer look well worth the price. I have more money invested than the asking price of this jeep and trailer, with the restoration, extra tires and wheels… Clear Oregon titles. These pictures were taken about a week ago. I am also selling a 1960 CJ-5 in another listing. Thanks!”
This is a project. It looks like the body has been patched together.
“I have a Kaiser-Willys 1965 CJ5 that is a project that is almost road worthy. Come have a look and make me an offer. $1200 OBO.
Has a running 4 cyl overhead “Hurricane” F-134 motor, T-90 3speed transmission, and Dana 18 transfer case.
The axles are a Dana 44 rear axle and Dana 27 front axle with original Warn lockers.
The jeep has a NEW clutch and NEW transmission (Has been installed –See Picture)
It has a NEW brake master cyclinder however the condition of brakes is unknown because the brake line is disconnected.
Original seats, but they are rough… I added padding and wrapped them with duct tape, intending to put a seat cover over them. They are usable but might want to have reupholsered.
The Original steel jeep rims are 16 inch, 5 x5.5 bolt pattern. Rims have been sandblasted, primed and painted gloss white
The Windshield in good shape with electric wiper motors instead of vacuum wipers. This was pulled from a ’72 jeep cause the orginal was rusted out.
The Floor boards in the process of being replaced, Rocker panels are also being replaced.
The Frame is in good shape having no rust through. Frame has been sandblasted and painted.
INcluded is a raggedy old soft top and soft doors, keeps the weather out, but nothing special to look at.
The Jeep has side mounted spare tire carrrier with full sized spare.
Tires are old and have cracks in them but hold air fine. I would replace them to go on the road.
NEW components include: starter solenoid, wires, spark plugs and fuel filter.
There is a stock heater and an after market 2nd heater is installed… dont know if they work.
This is great vintage jeep. Fix the brakes, tires and tail lights and you canbe on the road. It will be a fun little around town, parkway cuiser or trail jeep. Most of the major stuff has been done…. does need finishing to be drivable. I have an open NC title in hand.
Use craigslist e-mail or Text or Call Jeff at 828-989-5392″
Those hurricane rims are worth at least $100 by themselves.
“Transmission is a T14A-1. The transfer case is Spicer. If you want only the transmission or only the transfer case, they’re $150 each. Please see my other ads about my 1962 Willys CJ5.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
