(02/06/2018) “1947 Willy’s cj 2a. In good condition. Has new engine L head and transmission. Needs brakes bleed and new gas tank.”
It’s got a few additional extras that aren’t original (hubs, entry straps and side handles), but overall looks stock and good.

“ALL original except paint. Garage kept. Original engine. Must see to appreciate. Excellent condition!!!! NO rust!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(05/29/2017) Maybe has Allstate hubs?
“Project. Not currently driveable. Will need to be trailered. Needs engine and brake work to be started and stopped. I have driven it. It shifts through all the gears, low/high works and 2wd/4wd works. Some extra parts and original wheels/tires included. The picture makes the body look better than it actually is. Paint is blue peal coat over mostly bare metal. Topper is black Rustoleum. A better paint job with some body work would do a lot for it. With that said, it is definitely still a solid vehicle for 70+ years old. Has dings, dents and old repairs. A few small rust holes in the floor. All is common, repairable and no biggie. Needs to be seen in person to appreciate and evaluate it’s condition for yourself.

This project has no engine. It appears to have a replacement body with an early CJ-2A grille.

“1946 restored Jeep. 12 volt system upgrade, new 16″ tires, rebuilt transmission and motor. New springs, shackles and shocks. Original hood and grill, after market tub, fenders, tailgate and windshield. New upholstery on seats.”
That’s an unusual soft top. Early Dualmatic top maybe?

“48 Willy’s runs great starts every time and is reliable. Has had normal oil changes and tune up recently and has newer battery. It has a good soft top and doors zippers could use some work tho. All lights work but blinkers need work bulbs are good could be flasher or a little bit of wiring.”
Not sure if this is a 2A or a 3A.

Only been pulled in and out of garage in last 3 years. Tuned up a couple years ago. Current registration. Clean title in hand. Will not answer any questions or take offers on phone. If your interested come see it. To old to get in and out of it anymore.”

“1948 Willy’s Jeep in good condition call me for details”
Curiously, the body has a battery box lid, but no fuel inlet or tool indents on either side. So, I’m not sure what body this is. Has a number of updates, but even more rust. Not sure if there’s much value left here. Also has the Warn hubs that we haven’t tagged with a model name yet.

“This is a 1946 Willys Army Jeep, was running when parked. Needs sheet metal work (as the pictures will show). So no cream puff. There is no drop-down tail gate on the back, solid across. I was told from the original owner (way back when) that originally it was a CJ2A, but he changed the windshield (straight across, no separation) & the front grille, it made it a CJ3A style.
Engine is a 289 Ford with headers, 3″ collectors & that runs at 3” to the input of the Thrush mufflers mounted on the sides. Also another unique feature is that the original ring & pinions have been changed out from the 5:38’s to a more reasonable 3:54 ratio, making for better hwy driving. I believe the 4 speed transmission is from a Ford Bronco with part-time 4WD engagement & Hi & Lo gearing, front lock-out hubs as well. Has rack & pinion steering (which should be lowered a few inches to align better). Had a full soft-top at one time (have the doors) but that fabric has dry-rotted long time ago, bikini top (not in good shape either) is what you see in the pictures.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.

“Cj2a relatively complete. Still has the flat head. I have never had this one running. Not actually sure of year. Has vin plate, can provide bill of sale.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
Not a perfect restoration back to stock, but seems a good price.
“For Sale. 1947Willys CJ2A. Completely rebuilt engine, new brakes shoes, brake lines, wheel cylinders, fuel line, tires, seat covers, wiring, converted to 12V. 3 speed floor shift with 2 speed transfer case and 4 wheel drive, all in excellent working order. Reasonably new paint in flat buckskin and have an extra gallon. Aluminum radiator, new exhaust, rebuilt starter, and all new gauges w/speedo. Great off road vehicle, not great for highway due to very low gearing. I don’t need any help with selling the vehicle. “CASH ONLY””
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
(03/31/2018) Travis shared this jeep. It has a hard-to-find Boston Top.
“I’ve decided that I don’t have the time needed to restore this CJ as it deserves. The motor runs well, does not smoke. The rest is explained in the photos. It needs a full restoration. The tub needs extensive work, the clutch is frozen in neutral position and it has no brakes, it does not move under it’s own power, yet! It does have a fairly new battery, dist. cap, rotor, wires and plugs. I have pulled the starter, disassembled and cleaned it up and it works very well, especially with 12 volts whipping it over! Right now it has 12 volt ignition system but is no trouble putting it back to original. I have a brand new, in the box, repro fuel tank, the original leaks like a sieve! I also have a newer replacement tailgate and another set of wheels. These tires hold air as they should. These Jeeps are becoming pretty scarce! $2,000, Firm.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
Not sure how much value is here.
