Bidding was $7000 as of Sunday afternoon.
“This 1953 Willys CJ-3B is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven.
Less then 600 miles on restoration. 350 Chevy 3 speed trans. Warn overdrive. Over all great condition! new clutch throw out bearing and carburetor recently. Please message with any questions prior to bidding.”
This one was for sale a few months ago on this site. I think it sold for 5 or 5.500. guess guy who bought it thought he could make a few bucks on it. Or like many experiences I encountered, person buying jeep, jeep was misrepresented and once he got it didn’t want it.
