Being rushed to the front wearing class A uniforms and no weapons?
Yea, I’m with Bob. There’s way more to this picture. I love details, and the details I see here are 4 Jeep loads of Navy officers and CPOs in tan khakis. Using my imagination, the one guy in the left rear of the front left Jeep is probably a civilian translator. And what started out as refurbished WW2 Jeeps (first in to Korea), now look pretty rough and missing parts – no B/O drive lights, vacuum lines (post war modification) all ripped out, spare tires gone, gun rack missing, etc. I can think of many scenarios this picture covers, none of which is heading towards tanks on the front.
