UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $950.
(04/14/2016) Steve forwarded this one. I wouldn’t say it is a “great” candidate for restoration; more accurate to say it is badly in need of restoration.
“I have a all orginal 43 Willys gpw. 9 slot grille, with solid tailgate. Jeep was pulled from a collapsed barn in upstate pa.
The bad: Engine is either locked it the trans, because rear axel will not spin..
Also it was hit on the front driver side so the grille and fenders are bent but can be repaired.
The good: it’s a great candidate for a restoration as it’s almost complete minus the seats.
It has the body tags and data plates so acuiring at title would not be hard.”
“all original”….sorry, but that is an incorrect windshield. Should have said “mostly original”….
Looks like a t90,and later head and I think later block as well.
Third price drop.
If it was free I would take it because I would need to have it shipped. In my opinion it is not worth $950. As much as I love the GPWs and the MBs, that GPW needs an extensive amount of repair. If I was in the same state I would only buy it for no more than $300
Is this jeep still for sale?
