“1943 Ford GPW military army jeep. Complete original with non firing Browning 1919 machine gun. Radio hero with original radios. Excellent condition, virginia title in hand ready for display, parades and fun.”
Check out pic #3 showing the jeep interior. Looks like the steering wheel is installed up-side-down……
You hear contradictory statements on the wheel positioning over on the G-503 site. According to the “experts” the WWII jeeps, Willys or Ford came from the factory with the one spook down at 6:00 on a clock face as this one is with wheels straight ahead. Post war jeeps, civilian or military came with the wheel spoke at 12:00 on a clock face. One sure see’s the instruments better with the wheel positioned at 12:00.
For that price, should at least have combat rims on it. Should have manual wipers, front bumper is wrong, pedals are incorrect, no foot rest by gas pedal.
I agree Joe, it looks upside down. The spokes may be in the right position, but the wheel was put on upside down.
Interesting. I didn’t know that Giraud.
