Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

That’s a restoration?
At first glance when i saw those leaves all i could think was rust. On 2nd glance it looks pretty nice. Surprises me that they wouldnt take it for a run on the highway to make sure everything is in working order.
The windshield is camouflaged also.
There are a couple of things that are different here. The windshield has some sort of “boxing” on the inside. I don’t know what that is. Another thing is I think there is a nomenclature brass plate on the dash. That’s usally for some branch of govt. If a guy can get past the color, I think this is a really nice jeep. Other than a handful of easy to fix items, this jeep is very correct and looks to be well done.
I would be concerned about the rubber fuel and oil lines so close to the exhaust manifold.
Zero miles on the restoration …because noone wants to be seen driving this leaf peeper special? That paint job is definitely a “lim-fac” (limiting factor), unfortunately.
Maybe find a buyer in New England who gives Fall Folliage tours!?
For the time and effort expended on the exterior they could have had nice looking jeep had they just picked a color and painted it.
I’m wondering what’s under the diamond plate, either side of the tail gate.
Tail lights have been moved up and it looks like the diamond plate was added to cover old holes.
IM curious about the oil filter setup, that not a restricter type element, I bet the top of the motor is oil starved, unless perhaps the sump and pan have been made to work…. But what do I know…
you can see that boxed deal on the outside of the windshield too.
