This 24 page Willys Brochure has lots of great images in it. This version doesn’t appear too often.
“Original non color catalog , 8.5 x 11 , 24 pages , rusty staples , shows a variety of Jeep models , also vehicles in use in various situations , etc.”
That is a nice one! I hadn’t seen some of those pictures of Willys at work & play. Neat.
Someone had a backhoe jeep truck at Marengo, Ohio last year. It was cool to see.
The three special bodies for the trucks are interesting;Cargo carrier, firetruck and ambulance. I have never seen those before. I have seen the closed cab firetruck, but not the open cab version. I not sure what the open cab cargo carrier is for.
There were additional types of ambulances with minor changes. I’ll have to look and see if I’ve posted that info. I’ve never seen a cargo carrier outside of the brochures.
Mark S, I thought the open cab cargo carrier was a personnel carrier, sorta a mini version of a duece-and-a-half. I think they were used in Israel and other places more than stateside.
I’m unsure why they only call it a Cargo Carrier above, but other brochures call it a Cargo-Personnel Carrier such as this one:

Sellers maked it as 1954.
