    It’s a “Station Sedan”, 6 cylinder 148 motor
Solid back seat, not 2 separate seats.
Top-of-the line wagon for that year. Notice the grille bar that was used on the Jeepster.
Insert on the side called “basket weave”.
I only remember one color (green), but there could have been others.

And so is the Woman pictured with it..
Nice to remember when skin and sex didn’t have to be in everything you looked at too.. 🙂

The Station Sedan came in the green with basket weave on the top inserts and also in Luzon Red with basket weave inserts. This one in the photo still has the small hubcaps that the earlier station wagons had. Later 1948 Station Sedans had the full size hubcaps and corresponding wheels like the Jeepster. The spare tire was enclosed in a “shell” on the floor, rather than mounted on the right rear inner wheel well and window area. The little 148 ci engine put out 72 horsepower. Station Sedans were discontinued by Willys on October 30, 1949, the same date the CJ2A and VJ2 463 Jeepsters were discontinued. CJ3A Jeeps and VJ3 463 and VJ3-6 Jeepsters continued on.
