Bob forwarded this on a request from the communications coordinator for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. There will be a vintage-jeep related event on August 28th from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Food will be available.
Sounds like a good event…. of course, held during the middle of the work
week it will eliminate the chances of many/most of those of us who have
jobs from attending! Duh…. Do you think anyone ever thinks these sorts
of things through all that much?? One really has to wonder….
Of course, not really doing anything in the past to honor your city’s Jeep
heritage is a sign that you are getting off to a bad start. Maybe Butler
and the Jeep Festival there has shamed them into finally doing something??
