UPDATE: Price dropped to $2250.
(07/19/2013) I wonder what the bars on the hard top are for?
“1946 Willys CJ2A. Runs well. Some new parts, some old. New: rebuilt Buick v-6 motor, starter, radiator, all brake parts including lines, windshield, wiper motor, heater, wiring and lights. Old but not original: steering, extended leaf springs, 11″ brake drums. Has all range overdrive, tranny in good shape, body has rust and needs some work. Comes with homemade half-cab, set of 4 larger rimes and tires (tires not worth much). Fun project, fun to drive- come take a look. $2500.00. Yamhill”
Is that a postal windshield (widened and extending down the body)? …or a mod related to the roof? Those hard top bars are on the sides of the tub, too… interesting. Hand holds?
If I had to guess I’d say that the rails on the hardtop would help in installing and removing it.
