Eric forwarded this, wondering if this came with matching seats! The seller indicates he “knows what I have” yet doesn’t seem to know he has a CJ-3B.
“selling this 47 jeep.
besides rust and paint,
this is an awsome jeep!!
leaks no oil, and no water.
needs wiring but when i got it the guy hot wired it.
it ran well.
even has some orig. tires!
now the CONS:
needs new batt,
new tires,
wiring,
clutch,
and brake work.
has PTO…for tractor attachments!!
also
it has no tital, or vin #s
you would have to get some #s put on it..
its actually easy..
its the same process as a bung buggy..
but since it wasent made in someones back yard..
NO LOW BALL OFFERS!!
I know what i have!
ill take cash or trades (preferably guns)”
LOL, Cant hagle with a man who knows what hes got.
He know what he has but no “tidal”?
I’ve heard of a dune buggy but what is a bung buggy?
Looks like public education at its finest….
The last thing this guy needs is another gun.
I’d like some of what this guy is smoking.
The list of missing parts that I can determine is between 15 and 20 depending on how you count, beside what he listed.
No title
No Serial Number plate
Needs clutch, brakes, wiring, tires, battery.
I’ll bet money the engine won’t run.
I’d call it a $500 parts vehicle – absolute tops.
I do like that office chair on the passenger side. Kind of a classy, arm chair look from the ’50s. It goes with the house in the backgorund. Hill Billy Heaven.
Eric: I have heard the term ‘bung buggy’ a couple times. I couldn’t say whether it was a specific type of dune buggy though. The poster of this video http://www.nohazik.com/video_Ju-pcjSO5RI_MY-Dune-buggy.html refers to his rig as both a bung buggy and a dune buggy.

I wonder if he’d trade for a banjo?
